Our Advocacy Priorities

The change we want to see in the world.

Weight stigma is everywhere, embedded in the systems meant to support us, from healthcare and education to policy and public health. It shows up as bias, blame, and silence. And it causes real harm.

We imagine a different world: one where healthcare is safe and stigma-free. Where children grow up free from the harms of diet culture. Where discrimination isn’t the everyday, it’s illegal. Where education reflects evidence, not bias. And where fat joy, respect, and dignity aren’t radical, they’re the norm.

There’s a lot we want to see change. Here’s where we’re starting.

Our Long-Term Vision

The work doesn’t stop there.

We’re in it for the long haul, pushing for systemic change across policy, education, healthcare, and public conversation. We have BIG goals! We're not shooting for the moon, we're launching a mission to mars.

We want to see:

  • weight-neutral care as standard

  • public messaging that affirms, not shames

  • schools that teach body diversity and respect from the earliest years

  • research that reflects lived experience

  • support systems that prioritises wellbeing over weight

  • a national frameworks that protect every BODY from harm

We’re working toward a future where no one is punished for their body. Not in policy. Not in practice. Not anywhere.
