End Weight Bias membership is a way to be part of a growing movement working to end weight-based stigma and discrimination. Membership is about alignment and support for our values, our goals, and our work. It’s a way to stand with a community that believes everyone deserves dignity, respect, and evidence-based, weight-neutral care and policy, regardless of body size. Members help strengthen our collective voice and signal that ending weight bias matters.

Anyone who supports the vision and aims of End Weight Bias is welcome to become a member. If you believe weight-based stigma causes harm, want to see discrimination addressed, and support a more just, respectful approach to health, policy, and society, then membership is open to you. Members must be 18 years or older.

You can become a member by completing a short online form via the button below. The form includes some mandatory questions, as well as optional demographic questions. The demographic questions help us better understand the intersectional identities of our members and support our advocacy work. You can leave these questions blank if you prefer.

We communicate directly with members via email. We also share updates and information through our social media channels, which we encourage members to follow, if social media is their thing.

Yes. End Weight Bias is an incorporated association registered in New South Wales and is also a registered not-for-profit with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC).

No. You don’t need to work in health, policy, advocacy, or any related field to become a member. Membership is open to anyone who aligns with our principles and supports the goal of ending weight-based stigma and discrimination. Whether this work connects to your profession, your lived experience, or your values, you’re welcome here.

In addition to individual membership, End Weight Bias offers memberships for sole traders, private practices, businesses, and larger organisations. Organisational membership is a way to publicly demonstrate alignment with weight-neutral, evidence-based values and a commitment to reducing weight stigma. No. We take the privacy of our members seriously. Member names are not publicly listed, and we will never share a member’s name without their permission. Member information is stored using secure systems.
